PRE-ORDER: A fine art print of Bill Nicholson at the gates of White Hart Lane in 1970, signed by the photographer Peter Robinson
Photograph taken and signed by Peter Robinson.
This iconic image of Bill Nicholson holding open the gates of White Hart Lane is included in Peter Robinson’s exhibition ‘Double Vision’ at OOF. Arguably the ‘greatest living football photographer in the world’, Robinson’s eye for the striking, the dramatic and, often, the unusual, led him to cover a staggering thirteen World Cup tournaments, working as FIFA's official photographer for over twenty years. He had a knack for spotting the truly fascinating stuff happening away from the on-field action, finding charm, humour, incongruities and clever juxtapositions that elevate his work beyond mere football photo.
10% of the net print price will be donated to the Tottenham Tribute Trust, a charity dedicated to serving the needs of former Spurs players who find themselves in a situation that compromises their quality of life.
Orders will be signed at the gallery by the photographer on Saturday 12th of July from 1-3pm. You can either select to pick up in person on the day (or following days) or have it delivered. The opportunity to buy a signed print will end at midnight on Thursday 10th of July.
Shipping costs added at checkout.
