The World of Gazza (2023 version) exhibition poster by Jeremy Deller

In the mid ‘90s, Jeremy Deller made a series of posters for fantasy art exhibitions dealing with subjects ranging from David Bowie to the art of acid house to the poetry of Shaun Ryder. Among the posters was one advertising ‘The World of GAZZA!!’, a fake show about the mercurial footballer. As soon as we discovered it, we knew we had to make the whole thing happen. So we got in touch with Jeremy and not only was he well up for getting involved with the show but he even agreed to make a new version of the original poster. And this is it! A limited edition, full-colour poster featuring the genuine details of our exhibition (apart from the bit about Jeremy Deller Enterprises... that's just a joke).
