CHRISTIAN JEFFERY

  • Toile de Highbury, 2022

A tribute to the rich footballing history shared between Arsenal and Paris, travelling to Paris in 2022 to source the heavy-weight cloth. SOLD

  • Rose of Gold, 2024

Partly inspired by an antique drawing of a rose-covered suit of armour, partly a homage to the pristine white shirt worn by Geoff Hurst in England’s 1966 World Cup quarter-final win over Argentina. SOLD

  • Zig Zags, 2025

Inspired by late ‘80s Peter Shilton, an Italian luxury fashion house. SOLD

  • Squares in Squares, 2022

Paying homage to the avant-garde painter and graphic artist Mirolslav Šutej , the creator of the very first Croatian stripe. SOLD

  • Flowers by the Church, 2024

There’s an astonishing level of detail in this work: the deftly-painted club crest embedded in foliage on the chest, the Pony branded numbers weaving in and out of the floral pattern on the back, the nostalgia-inducing Premier league badges on beautiful, baggy sleeves. SOLD

  • From Morocco to Amsterdam (Three Little Stripes), 2021

Constructed from a soft crepe fabric sourced from a Casablanca street market, the shirt celebrates the links between Morocco football and the famous Dutch club. SOLD

  • N17 Embroidered Lace, 2024

  • José's Jersey, 2024

Inspired by José Ponce’s stained 1980 Valencia jersey and dedicated to the Valencia community.

  • Tapestry Under A Tree, 2024

Inspired by Red Star FC, Paris. Made from an antique French Tapestry with painted logos.

  • Unicef Barça Patchwork, 2022

The geometric panel design is a nod to M.C.Escher’s ‘Cycle’ (1938) in which tessellating blocks dissolve into a sprawling perpetual pattern.

  • Toile de Jouy, 2022

  • Red & Gold Poppies, 2025

Outlining the poppies in the fabric in gold paint and acknowledging the poppy as the national flower of Poland led Christian to Robert Lewandowski and FC Barcelona.

  • Saint George with Flowers, 2023

Christian’s aim was to soften the hyper-macho way that the Saint George’s Cross is traditionally presented, while still retaining a strong sense of Englishness in the design of the shirt. SOLD
